Granite Heaven is a proudly local and well-established stone fabrication company, based in Kerikeri, specialising in quality stone projects, including, benchtops, vanities, and more across Northland. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Fabricator to become part of our dedicated team.

About the Role: As a Senior Fabricator, you’ll take a lead role in the preparation and finishing of custom stone products. From interpreting templates to operating machinery and hand-finishing details, your skill and experience will be crucial in delivering the high standard our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from digital and physical templates

• Operate bridge saws, CNC, edge polishers, and hand tools

• Complete hand-finishing, mitres, edge profiling, and cutouts

• Ensure accuracy and quality at all stages of fabrication

• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace

• Collaborate with installers and manager to meet deadlines

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in stone fabrication including, granite, quartz, porcelain

• Proven ability in hand-finishing and edge detailing

• Strong understanding of fabrication tools and machinery

• Great communicator and team player

• Reliable, with high attention to detail and pride in your job

• Installation experience is a bonus

• Forklift license and/or experience operating lifting equipment is a bonus
